1. The Beechworth Lunatic Asylum, Australia

The Beechworth Lunatic Asylum — originally called Mayday Hills Lunatic Asylum is a decommissioned hospital located in Beechworth, a town of Victoria, Australia. It served as a mental hospital from 1867 until 1995. About 9,000 patients died in its 130-year history, so it is believed that those souls are haunting this place. Beechworth Lunatic Asylum is currently owned by La Trobe Beechworth Pty Ltd, and managed by La Trobe University. Visitors can take a nighttime ghost tour. This tour explores inside one of Victoria's largest lunatic asylums, where your host will share with you tales of staff, patients and early forms of treatments.

2. The Princess Theatre, Australia -

The Princess Theatre has experienced several reported ghost sightings, which is haunted by a ghost named Frederici. Frederick Baker, or “Frederici,” was an Italian baritone singer who died on stage in 1888. He was finishing a performance as Mephistopheles in Faust when a trapdoor dropped beneath his feet and he fell beneath the stage, dying from a heart attack. He never came back onstage and when the company was gathered together to be told that Federici had died, his he co-workers surprisley asked ... When ?? - the officials then told them what had being happened at the end of the theatre drama, hearing all these, the co-workers said in shock "He's just been onstage and taken the bows with us." Since then, many people who have never heard of the Federici story have claimed to see a ghostly figure in evening dress at the theatre. For many years, the third-row seat in the dress circle was kept vacant in his honour.

3. The Bhanghar Fort, India -

It has been considered as the place with the most ghost sightings in the world. The fort is situated in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. The fort was built in 1573 and remains today a ruin of several temples, palaces, and smaller living units. Apparently a wizard was smitten by the princess rather than on his interpersonal skills, he tried to woo the princess with a bowl of magic potion and when it didn’t work. He did what every lover does, he cursed the kingdom to destruction and the people were cursed to death.  Let us reveal you one more fact about this place. The village households found here are without roofs as there persists a popular belief and experience that the moment a rooftop is built on a house it collapses. This is said to be the most freaky place in India. The government of India and the archaeological department of India have put up a notice that staying in the fort after sunset is prohibited.

4. Aokigahara, Japan -

One of Japan’s most popular destination from haunted point of view is the japan's globally infamous suicide forest. After the first kilometer into Aokigahara towards Mount Fuji, the forest is in a more "pristine" condition, with little to no litter and few obvious signs of human presence.  In 2004, 108 people killed themselves in the forest. As of 2011, the most common means of suicide in the forest were hanging and drug overdoses. According to one legend, during times of ancient Japan, some families couldn’t able to feed themselves. Some would be abandoned in Aokigahara, where they died of starvation. The ghosts of that poor people haunts this forest.

5. Hell Fire Club on Montpelier Hill, Ireland -

The Hell Fire Club on Montpelier Hill was built as a hunting lodge in 1725 by William Conolly. It is a place where small group of Dublin elites met for immoral avtivities and devil worship. Tales of animal sacrifice, black masses, cloven-hoofed men, and murder surround the structure. Montpelier Hill and much of the surrounding lands, are owned by the State forestry company Coillte and are open to the public.
